Marc Lotano, MD

Experience

Dr. Lotano was an Associate Professor of Anesthesia at the University of Virginia for 5 years, actively involved in training fellows, residents, and medical students, for 5 years before joining Stony Point Surgery Center in 2016.

Education

Dr. Lotano received a Bachelor’s degree in Biology from Washington and Lee and a Master’s degree in Cell Biology and Anatomy from the University of Virginia. He attended medical school and completed his internship and anesthesiology residency at MCV, where he served as chief anesthesiology resident. Dr. Lotano then went back home to New York, completing a Regional Anesthesia Fellowship at the Hospital for Special Surgery. After five years at UVA Medical Center in Charlottesville, Dr. Lotano joined MEDRVA in 2016. Dr. Lotano is board certified by the American Board of Anesthesiologists.
