Kelley M. Dodson, MD

Dr. Dodson specializes in head and neck surgery.

Experience

Dr. Dodson’s clinical and research interests include pediatric genetic hearing loss, otology, and pediatric otolaryngology. Dr. Dodson has published scientific reports and articles on pediatric and genetic hearing loss, improvements to newborn hearing screening, treatment for Ménière’s disease, and intratympanic therapies for tinnitus.

Dr. Dodson is board-certified and specializes in diseases of the head, neck and throat and pediatric otolaryngology.

Education

Dr. Dodson completed her undergraduate studies at The University of Virginia, followed by medical school at George Washington University, where she graduated valedictorian and received the John Ordonaux Valedictorian Award. After completing her five-year otolaryngology residency at Virginia Commonwealth University Medical Center, Dr. Dodson joined the faculty of the Department of Otolaryngology at VCU as an assistant professor in 2005.

Dr. Dodson and her husband live in Hanover with their daughter and son. In her spare time, she enjoys golfing, running and reading.
