Marie K. Grove, MD

Dr. Grove specializes in obstetrics and gynecology.

Experience

Dr. Grove loves working with women of all ages, from teenage years to the postmenopausal stage. She enjoys preventative medicine and managing low or high-risk pregnancies. She likes helping women understand and manage common issues such as heavy uterine bleeding, fibroids and PCOS. Dr. Grove is passionate about minimally invasive surgery, including hysteroscopy, laparoscopic hysterectomy, and robotic-assisted procedures. She is highly skilled in da Vinci robotic surgery and received two awards in residency for excellence in minimally invasive surgery.

Practice

Dr. Grove joined Virginia Women’s Center in 2019.

Education

Dr. Grove received a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Maryland in College Park and her Doctorate of Medicine from Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond. Dr. Grove completed her internship and residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Virginia Commonwealth University Medical Center.

Profile

When she’s not caring for women, Dr. Grove loves running (including marathons!), biking, exploring Richmond, and family trips to the Eastern Shore. She especially loves spending time with her husband, children, and dogs!
