    Intrauterine Insemination, also known as artificial insemination, is a fertility procedure where a sperm sample is washed, concentrated and fast-moving sperm are placed directly into the woman’s uterus at the time of ovulation. Fertility medications are given during an IUI cycle. They are used to induce ovulation and stimulate development of multiple eggs.
